As globalization advances, overseas expansion is transitioning from an "option" to a "necessary path" for enterprises. Hong Kong, serving as a premier legal hub and financial nexus bridging East and West, has established itself as a pivotal foothold for global business growth, leveraging its mature legal framework and internationalized institutional environment. On November 6, 2025, Beijing Blossom & Credit Law Firm ("Blossom & Credit") successfully convened the 2025 Overseas Legal Risk Management Forum (Hong Kong Chapter) and International Legal Committee Inauguration at its Beijing headquarters. The event gathered prominent experts in cross-border legal practice, industry association representatives, and corporate leaders - both experienced and aspiring in global expansion. Secretary-General Li Yang provided a penetrating analysis of the core elements underpinning successful overseas expansion. He argued that standalone legal counsel is no longer adequate to meet today's integrated challenges, stressing the need for a coordinated model where "legal expertise paves the way, financial solutions enable growth, and policy guidance steers the course." He commended Blossom & Credit for creating this exchange platform, recognizing it as a vital move to foster multi-stakeholder dialogue and consolidate efforts. Looking forward, he advocated building a comprehensive support ecosystem to proactively clear hurdles and secure a resilient pathway for enterprises going global.
