On the morning of March 15, 2019, the Haidian District Bureau of Justice held the 2019 Lawyer Work Meeting of the Haidian District, attended by more than 400 people, including WANG Qun, official at the sub-director general level, and LIANG Wenhui, Deputy Chief of the Comprehensive Lawyer Guidance Division, of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Justice, members of the leading group of the Haidian District Lawyers Association, principals, Party organization leaders and representative lawyers of law firms, and principals of street and town offices of justice. ZHOU Yuxin, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Director General of the Haidian District Bureau of Justice, presided over the meeting.
At the meeting, LIU Yue, Deputy Director General of the Haidian District Bureau of Justice, delivered a work report, summarizing the work in 2018, and the basic situation of the legal profession, stating that the Party building in the legal profession has been improved in an all-round way, and pointing the direction for the work in 2019. At the meeting, Beijing Blossom & Credit Law Firm gained the honorary title of “Outstanding Law Firm of the Haidian District 2018”, Party Branch Secretary CHAI Qinghai and partner WANG Yanling gained the honorary title of “Outstanding Lawyer of the Haidian District”, and LI Fangfang gained the honorary title of “Outstanding Executive of the Haidian District”.
The year of 2019 is a year full of major events and joyous occasions of the State, and the critical year for furthering lawyer system reform in an all-round way, and promoting comprehensive development of lawyer work.
