Participated in the construction of a factory by a large-sized foreign-invested enterprise in China on the land granted through bidding. From due diligence investigation at the early stage to the conclusion of relevant agreements, to the negotiation concerning the suspension of the project due to change in the government’s support policies at the later stage, Ms. WANG applied flexible negotiation measures, followed up on and adjusted written documents, and properly communicated with the tax authority to eventually promote the investment project, so as to protect the client from losing the high investment costs that had been paid due to the change in the policy.
Represented a large-sized wholly foreign-owned enterprise in the contract dispute with a distributor arising from repurchase of equipment, in which Ms. WANG accurately analyzed the different grounds of claim under the purchase and sales relationship and under the relationship of the distributorship agreement, and effectively defensed against the plaintiff on the ground of unqualified entity, hence eventually protecting the client from suffering millions of repurchase losses.
Represented a foreign enterprise in the equipment coating industry in the case of claim for losses arising from contract performance with a large-sized state-owned enterprise, in which Ms. WANG prepared sufficient evidence on the losses and argued from multiple perspectives in the statement of the lawyer, so that the court eventually supported all the performance costs actually paid by the client.
Represented a Spanish trading company in the arbitration case of labor dispute with employees; despite the risk of termination of employment by the client in violation of law, Ms. WANG sorted out and analyzed employee attendance records, performance records, and email communication with superiors, and eventually persuaded the arbitration tribunal to accept the fact that the employee had violated rules, which protected the client from paying economic compensation.
